NC750X DCT 2025
I've just received my NC750X DCT '25 and am planning to add some aftermarket parts for styling, protection and comfort.
My previous bike was traded in: a white 2017 NC750X. The upgrades from the 2019, 2021 and 2025 models combined sound like a nice package, and enough reason to commit to yet another NC-X.

First of all, here is the 'victim', a DCT in Racing Red. About the color by the way: yes it may appear a bit orange in certain pictures. If you see the bike in real life, solo, it's the brightest red you've ever seen.
If you would park it next to a red Ducati, you would probably change your mind. Next to traditional red RED bikes, the NC has a softer and more orange tone.

There are a few factory options I did pick:
  1. Urban Pack Red
    1. Luggage rack
    2. Top case
    3. Top case metal design plate
    4. Top case cushion (in red stitching!)
    5. One key lock system
    6. Top case inner bag
    7. USB-C in frunk
    8. Center stand
    9. Frunk inner bag
      [this pack is €1350 total]

  2. Hand guards [€131]

  3. Comfort seats front + rear [€301]

The hand guards look pretty nice, and are only connected at one point (instead of the previous method where they would also connect to the bar end weights).
Not sure if they are worth that hefty €131...but hey it adds to the look.

The comfort seats look nice. If you buy them, you will also get the original seats, so you can compare them.
Do they add comfort?... I can't tell yet, further testing is required. They do not seem to have the same forward sloping that the 2017 model had, so that's nice.
The material is very grippy, sliding in your seat is near impossible. The red stitching and Honda logo (embossed and on the side) make it look more premium.

The frunk has it's own piece of luggage now! A handy organizer that fits snugly into the hole.
The bag is very sturdy on the outside - like it can keep it's own shape very well. The inside looks like a camera bag, with dividers that you can change yourself with the velcro tabs.

First thing to do, since the bike is still clean (40 kilometers driven from dealer to my house): Ceramic coating.
Never done this step before, but since this is a brand new bike, I'm extra careful.
In preparation I've watch reviews about ceramic products (like the review from Project Farm, really good!) and picked the one that has good results for beginners like me.

This stuff smells great and is easy to use. Requires two coats to fully work as intended, with a 24h cure time in between.
With this much attention to the fairing, it does show that the frunk lid is just ugly: orange peel and a lot of casting marks from the inside visible.
One piece of fairing was also damaged in transport, but the replacement part is already waiting for me at the dealer.

First add-on: Puig rear wheel hugger in carbon(look).
Was actually a steal when I bought it, because it was meant for a NC700X 2013. But nothing has changed with the swing arm, so it fits.
By the way: the bike came with Dunlop Trailmax D609 tires. Not the Metzeler Tourance that it was advertised to have.

Next up: sport exhaust. I really liked the Ixil HyperLow on my 2017 NC-X, so I've bought the same one again!.
Again...a lot cheaper since this was an NC700X 2013 item. Still fits and is swappable in 3 minutes.

And finally, the least exciting but still important from a maintenance viewpoint: front shock protectors.

This is it for now. More is soon to come, I have a few items already next to the bike - and more on their way.
A few parts that will be added:

  1. Red rimstriping (already have that, but in a regular red. I want to order a neon red, that might just fit the orange-red color perfectly)

  2. Givi crash bars (from the 2017 model...they are not 100% compatible since the frame was changed. Still testing if I can make it fit)

  3. Tank pad (on its way)

  4. Radiator protector (ready to install)

  5. Grip puppies (on their way)

  6. Digital thermometer (this Roadsync dash lacks a gauge for that!)

And the wishlist:
  1. Veridian cruise

  2. Wrap for the top case (insert in the same red color as the bike)

  3. TPMS

  4. Puig 3.0 brake lever

  5. Ermax / Puig sport screen in black (not available yet, and the 2021 version does not fit)

That frunk organizer bag/luggage divider is intriguing. Could I trouble someone for the dimensions of the bag? It makes me wonder if a camera bag might suffice as a cheaper alternative. I see it listed as a 2025 exclusive item but wouldn't it fit all years? Thanks.

An 18 or 20 liter tank bag does a fine job fitting in the bottom of the frunk but the dividers of the Honda bag would be an improvement over a regular tank bag. I use a Cortech Super 18.

Thanks. I bought a ~$20 JSVER large hard case for GoPro cameras from Amazon. It fits flat in the frunk, but not flat on the bottom of the frunk, if that makes sense. I plan to keep it unzipped to access my stuff on the go and, of course, when I need to carry other/more stuff to zip it shut and stand it on it's end when needed.

The stuff:
extra ear plugs
NC750 tool kit
NC750 owners manual
NC750 insurance card and registration
Foldable reading glasses
Yellow rain glasses
Chapstick
SAE to USB converter
SAE to SAE extension cable
Cable lock (for helmet/jacket/etc.)
Spray bottle with water
Microfiber cloth

I always ride with drinking water and a baseball hat, they don't fit inside and I'm okay with that.

Yesterday I purchased a bag similar in size to yours from Walmart for $6.98, to put in the bottom of the frunk.
Is listed online as a "Insulated reusable lunch bag".
Doesn't have the dividers, but is padded (insulated). I have much of the same stuff in it as you, plus a lithium powered tire inflater.

I picked up a cheap backpack from Walmart that is higher quality than the price suggests. If the link below doesn't work, then cut-n-paste it.

The stuff:
Fanttik tire inflator
Tubeless tire repair kit (reamer & bacon strips)
7" (W702) Carpuride bluetooth screen for Android Auto (Navi and Spotify) - my phone stays with ME, not attached to the bike
3 pairs of gloves (heavy winter pair left at home for day rides in the summer)
Asst'd tools: Allen wrenches, 10, 12, 14mm wrenches, Multi-tool
20,000 mAh power bank and asst'd USB cords
Sunglasses
Reader glasses
Manuals for NC750, Cardo and Carpuride
Brake disc lock that gets tossed in a side pocket when not in use

I don't like leaving $600 worth of stuff in the frunk, so I just put the backpack in the frunk when I go on a ride, and take it out when I get back home. If I ever get stranded, just pull out the backpack, throw it on, and go about life as necessary.

I'm so glad that this all fits in the frunk!

that backpack, loaded, fits in the frunk?

As the Ferret pointed out, 17L < 23L so no problem at all. There's still some extra room at the top of the frunk, if needed for any additional small items, like the baseball cap and beanie I forgot to put back after the last ride.

That's a brilliant idea. One I'm thinking about incorporating. Thanks . That way "if needed" you could take out the backpack and put it on and have a nearly empty frunk for carrying something special

I'd suggest a front fender extender to keep mud and dirt off the front of the bike below the radiator. This item will also lighten the load of the radiator protector.

That is a great idea actually. This one on Amazon caught my eye because it seems fairly "smooth" and it says it is waterproof. I was thinking the more simple the backpack, the better it would fit into the frunk and be functional.
