Depends if you're the one getting the new bike or not. :)

Hey looks like the '25 is getting functional tank/frunk rails again that you can attach to?
No, I think the frunk lid is identical to the 2021-2024 model. Lots of parts are identical.

As far as I can see / I've read, these parts are clearly different to the 2021-2024 model:
-Display
-Windscreen
-Controls left/right on handlebar (new DCT select switches on the right and new display menu buttons on the left)
-Wheels (new lighter design)
-Brakes (dual up front)
-Seats (new material and stitching, no more NC logo embossed)
-Seats (finally factory comfort seats available, those have red stitching and a red Honda text to the side)
-New front panel design + Headlight

I just hope we get the 2025! Honda will only give the U S one color. But I am ok with any of the 4 colors, red, green, white or black.
It is not what Honda Motor Co will give the US, it is a matter of what American Honda Motor Co. orders from Honda Motor Co Japan. The US market does not sell the volume of NC's that Europe does so it comes down to the volume that American Honda can sell and not get stuck with carry over inventory. For what it is worth.

It looks like there is a 5th color, next to red, white, green and black?
Not in my country. Found at Webike Japan.

Honestly, while I understand the mechanics of that decision, Honda may not sell as many in the US as Europe because they decide what to bring into the US market independently of actual market potential. I've been looking, and from what I've seen there isn't a surplus of NC750x inventory in the US. In fact, from what I've found, there's a shortage of inventory. If Honda listened to customer demand in the US rather than apparent assumptions that most riders in the US want an interstate cruiser or a dirt bike, we would have the same options as the rest of the world. I'm being moved toward a KLR650S because Honda won't provide a product I want in the US, unfortunately.

This review popped up last night on my Google feed

There are actually tons of European reviews now on Youtube. A week ago, there was a press event in Portugal where Dutch, German, Austrian, French, Polish etc bike reviewers were invited to test the new NC750X and Transalp back to back.
I know...because I've watched them all :).

No big surprises in those reviews. They like the dual front brakediscs. They like the smoother DCT in low speeds.
They like the optional tall and adjustable screen...but hate the fact that it's so damn expensive and requires two hands to adjust. They dislike the lack of cruise control.
They dislike the option to switch between driving modes on the fly and how hidden things like heated grips are in the dash-menu.
Oh and a lot of attention (sound like it's being pushed by Honda) goes out to the new Durabio material. No longer a painted plastic, but corn-based if I'm corect and the colour is troughout the material. So a scratch would not show the base coat of even the black plastic base like the previous models.

And a lot of these reviews have some conclusion like 'This bike is so easy/low entry, it's almost suitable for people who dislike riding a motorbike. But saying that would be a discredit to it. It certainly is not ment for those who want to be in front of the pack, showing off and arriving first. It's ment for those who like to switch between practical shopping, a ride to work and back, but also be capable of touring in mountain area.' (< my interpretation of the 7 or 8 reviews I've seen on the MY2025).

Unfortunately, I believe the problem stems from the first few years that the NC700 was imported into North America. It was an unusual motorcycle in that it didn’t chase horsepower over practicality and dealers didn’t know how to sell the bike so inventory swelled. DCT offended many traditional riders. Social media forums were brutal at times toward the idea of and the owners of an automatic transmission motorcycle. Prior to Covid you could buy a dusty two or three year old bike off the showroom floor in some areas and there were probably many many more in Honda warehouses around the country still in the crate. Demand was so low dealers quit ordering them and this sent a clear message to American Honda. I’ve been a fan of this motorcycle since 2011 when it was released in Europe and it’s sort of amazing to me how essentially the same motorcycle is viewed so differently today by the riding public and motojournalists that produce content about motorcycles.

You would think just the auto trans feature and the concealed storage area would make it a hot seller when you figure there are many older riders that aren't into power anymore (I used to drag race bikes) and welcome a bike that they don't need perfect extremities for to keep riding.

I'm 'only' 40 years old and stil love the rush it gives when you hit 100mph in mere seconds. But after an unplanned testdrive on the NC...it just made sense.
Not telling everyone proudly that it has less than 60bhp, but hey..non motorbike riders haven't got a clue about bike specs.

You see these bikes everywhere in Europe...I recently even saw one in Tokyo (the only real motorbike I've seen there!).
The Honda dealer where I've ordered my MY2025, always has like 7 to 10 of these used bikes in stock, ranging from 2012 to 2024.

May i ask you witch dealer you ordered the bike?
Ten Kate Motoren in Nieuwleusen. Also had a quote by Motoport, but their trade-in price (for my 'old' NC-X) was low.
Both dealers were receiving their first NC's in week 8, but at Motoport all NC's for that first batch were already sold so it would be week 12+.
Both dealers had the khaki green as their most ordered color.

IMO the dual discs (if done right), are a worthwhile upgrade, as is smart phone connectivity with apple car play for using GPS. Cruise would have sure been nice.
If it has Apple carplay only, I would not be interested. I have never and will never own an Apple product. I would just do what I do now, use Google maps on my Android phone.

Totally different discussion, IOS vs Android.

My employer only supplies Apple devices + my health related device (Freestyle Libre) works terrible on Android. So I'm stuck on Apple.
And as far as I have seen, the Honda Roadsynch really hates Apple (or the other way around).

90% of the Roadsynch options on navigation, audio, text appear not to be working for Apple.
