I'm late to the game...what are attempting to do?

Just reporting on my daily rides (see post # 2 of this thread for Day 1 lol)

I attempt to ride as many days and as many miles as I can every year

Since I retired in 2013 I have averaged 305 days and 22,371 miles a year.

This year looks like I'll be up on days compared to average and down on mileage compared to average, since this year I didn't take the 2 annual out of state trips I usually take.

Day 311 ...sunny and bright but only 26 degrees and a bit windy for todays' 40 mile ride.

Day 312 ... 42 miles lunch time ride .... bright and sunny and the second warmest ride this week at 31 degrees

Picked up my new 2024 Honda NC750X DCT to replaced the 2021 that was totaled when a deer hit me.
So far I've had installed center stand, USB-C port, and heated grips. Dealer installed.
Today I installed Hippo Hands, lowered pedals, and GPS mount. All retained from the 2021.
Once we pay a few bills I'll add crash bars, a taller wind screen, fender extender, and hand guards.

8 total miles for the day in 28 degrees. Brrrrr

Day 313 ...the average high for the last 11 days was 27.7 according to the weather terrorist on the news last night, but a warm front came thru today, and today's 42-mile ride was at a balmy 45 degrees and sunny

supposed to be even warmer tomorrow before the rug gets pulled out from under us again. ...then again.... it IS December

Day 314....started raining about 11 pm and kept it up until maybe noon today then quit. Waited until 2 pm and got out for 44 miles @ 55 degrees, overcast & windy on partially damp roads. Going back into the 30's for Wed and Thur.

Day 315..what a lousy wet day. Woke up to rain, rained all day until about 3 PM. Gets dark at 5:15, so I got dressed and on the road at 3:30. Still got wet from puddles and car spray lol. 39 miles @ 41 degrees with overcast skies and wet roads.

Day 317...woke up to this .....

luckily, the streets were warm enough that it only stuck to the grass and stuff so this afternoon I was able to get out for 42 miles @ 35 degrees and cloudy

Day 318 ... 55 miles @ 29 degrees and sunny. and turned over another milestone on my 21 DCT

On a coolish day, today I rode to and from a local theatre where I was working backstage for a production of The Nutcracker by a regional ballet company. Not a lot of miles, but it was 65 miles round trip...only the second day I've ridden this month.
