The 2022 BMW R 1250 RT: Sport And Luxury.
Contents
It is really no surprise that a European manufacturer that builds legendary luxury sports sedans, makes such a stellar luxury sport touring motorcycle. The heart of the R 1250 RT is the ShiftCam Boxer engine with 105 lb-ft of torque smoothly pulling from corner to corner, with plenty of protection from the large windscreen and well-designed fairing.
All of the BMW R 1250 RT’s instruments are combined on the huge 10.25″ TFT screen, along with useful features like connection and the navigator. With the split-screen, you see an overview of numerous features at once, such as the onboard computer and the current speed.
The optional Active Cruise Control (ACC) driving assistance system lets you set the desired speed and the distance to the vehicle in front conveniently by pressing a button on the handlebars. A radar sensor at the front determines the vehicle speed and the distance to the vehicle ahead. The BMW R 1250 RT joins other 2022 BMW models with the Option 719 package, and items like Dynamic ESA (electronic suspension) and Ride Modes Pro as optional add ons.
