Famously Versatile, Incredibly Reliable: The 2021 Suzuki V-Strom 650
Contents
The updated V-Strom 650 is one of the stars of the 2021 Suzuki line-up. For years, the venerable V-Strom 650 has gained a cult following as a solid commuting machine with adventure and sports touring capabilities. It’s such a celebrated all-rounder that it’s often regarded as one of the most versatile Suzuki motorcycles on the market.
Like many Japanese motorcycles, the Suzuki V-Strom is known for its reliability. However, there’s more to this middle-weight machine than reliability. The bike’s 645 cc DOHC V-twin engine produces a respectable 70 horsepower and 46 lb-ft of torque, making it ideal for more than just commuting. The power is delivered in a calm and confidence-inspiring fashion, offering an unintimidating ride experience for beginners.
The V-Strom 650 also boasts a number of exciting rider aids too. Chief among these include Suzuki’s advanced traction control system, easy start system, low-rpm assist function, and ABS. Throw in some DR-Big-inspired bodywork, an adventure-capable windshield, and mounting brackets for securing luggage, and you have the recipe for an advanced, adventure-ready motorcycle.
For 2021, the V-Strom 650 is available with a new color option: Candy Daring Red.
The 2021 Suzuki V-Strom 650 starts from $8,849 USD / $10,199 CAD.
