Mine has stalled three times at a stop light.

I asked the dealer to read the codes at the six hundred mile checkup,
and adjust the headlights .... They were 0 for 2 requests. They did change
the oil.

This recall should address your stalling issue.

Rode 70 miles on mine today. Tried to make it stall by snapping the throttle open and closed on several occasions. Never faltered.

Tried to find a vin plate to see when it was manufactured after reading this thread and couldn't find one, but serial number is under 100., picked up July 22, 2021, so it would seem it would fall within production dates of March and August.
Where do you find a serial number?

I purchased my '21 in July of this year and it has already stalled on me. I didn't report it because I thought it was just something I did or didn't do...I guess I just didn't know any better. Now, I wish I had. Thank goodness it was just in a parking lot because if I were in an intersection, I might have been rear-ended. Never thought I'd have this issue since my 2016 NC700x never stalled. What was even weirder is that when I re-started the bike after stalling, I barely opened the throttle and it surged ahead so suddenly that I almost went off the back of the bike! Scared the crap outta me to say the least! So, the entire way home, I was really paranoid it would happen again. It's going in for its first checkup this weekend so I'm hoping they can include this fix while it's there. They've been back-logged because they just can't get enough mechanics in the shop! When I made the appointment, I told the guy I had right at 600 miles on it but that there might be more since my appointment was made several weeks ago...he said that was ok as long as I didn't put 3k miles on it in the meantime...

On page 165 of the downloadable 2021 Owners manual, it shows the location of the frame VIN label, but they had not yet inserted the complete motorcycle illustration in the graphic. In seems like a large part of the manual is dedicated to operation of the dashboard display.

It would also be on your bill of sale. Im sure you had to give the vin number to your insurance agent so it would be on your insurance card as well.

As a side note, I verify at the time of sale that the VIN on the frame sticker is exactly the same on the title application, bill of sale, plate registration, sales tax form. etc. A VIN typo on any documents is a headache to clean up later.

Mine has stalled a handful of times now, but always when very gradually opening the throttle at a stop. I’ve been watching reports here and have known that something is wrong. Glad to hear about the recall and the fix is what I expected. I thought that Honda would just quietly offer an adjusted fueling profile ecu rom flash TSB at some point as customers complained when they were in for service. It appears the problem was more widespread and in some cases impacted safety forcing the full-on recall.

On todays ride I will try slowly opening the throttle from stops ( even slower than normal) and see if that promts it to stall

Is it not on a sticker affixed on the frame tube immediately behind the radiator, left side of bike?

Well thats where it is, I was looking all over the headstock for it the other day and couldnt find it. Its also black and not white like the old ones were.

And mine says it was manufactured 3/21.

On todays ride several times I fed the throttle in so gingerly, that the rpms actually dropped and I thought it was going to stall.... but it didn't.

Yes the "serial #" is part of the information in the VIN#.

Mine was built 6/21, number 61 of the manual transmission models I assume.
Ah...ok...thank you! Mine was built 4/21. So, sorry to keep asking more questions, but what part of the VIN is the S/N? Thanks for that!
