The F 900 R is a dynamic roadster designed for a blend of performance and practicality. While the F 800 R was designed for performing a basic function, the F 900 R is all about the ride experience. The F 900 R draws power from a compact 865cc parallel-twin engine, and produces 99 horsepower, 67 lb-ft of torque, delivering top speeds of over 124 mph. That power is transferred to the rear wheel via a six-speed transmission and kept under control using selectable ride modes (Road/Rain), ASC, and ABS.
Unlike other motorcycles from BMW Motorrad, the F 900 R isn’t overloaded with unnecessary extras. Standard equipment includes LED lights, adjustable levers, a TFT display with BMW Connectivity, and a 12v socket.
For 2021, the F 900 R is available in three color options: Black Storm Metallic, San Marino Blue, and Mars Red Metallic, and BMW’s Motorsport Light White/Lupin Blue Metallic/Racing Red tricolor.
