yep, I rode the ole C50 in this morning...43'F when I left the house...still quite cold doing 70mph on the superslab...had my snow mobile suit on...only my finger tips got cold...felt good except for all the fog on my side of the river. supposed to be close to 70' for high tomorrow with rain tomorrow afternoon...may still ride in tomorrow as I dont care if I get wet going home....hehehe (be on the Honda tomorrow). Looks like a cold front is coming and we will be back to winter after the 2 days of spring...Rode into work today - last good day for a while it looks like. Was a little damp coming in. Wasnt raining or anything, but a little foggy and very humid. The roads were damp but not slick. When I got parked, my jacket and pants were quite damp. I didnt want to put thermals on, so I put rain pants on over my work pants - turned out to be a good idea. It was 47 when I left the house this morning, it'll be 60 or so when I head to "Two-Stroke Tuesday" tonight at the bar after work. Sun's out, a few clouds. Can't wait to get out of work.
Sounds like you might be over lubing the chain? Less lube is better.@#%_*=/. Grr.. started to remove and clean out all the ’spare’ Chain wax from the front sprocket compartment.. it’s full.. YIERCK..! the neutral sensor wiring is packed in the stuff, - so the gear display is flashing at me every time I try to start.. I have tried this before.. so I know what to do... but WHY is the sensor situated here.. the worst place to clean out on the bike.. is it just me..?? I hope the new decade was arriving with same grace as your bike... rofl.
I want to see those engine guards after you install them....dont know what I will do Sunday now...woke up this morning with a dang head cold....always amazes me, go to bed feeling great and wake up with a head cold...so it may just be a weekend drinking down nightquil and laying back in the recliner....Yep, plan on givin the NC a good wash, do some chain maintenance and check the brake pads and finally install the engine guards. May also skip the wash and guards and do the chain, brakes and ride.
