SOLD. 2017 Moto Guzzi V7 III Stone $7,900 (Like New - Highly Accessorized)

I’m selling my 2017 Moto Guzzi V7 iii Stone. I’m age 62, I’ve owned 20 bikes in my life, and this Guzzi has been the most fun to ride of them all. But having spent all of this past March in Baja, Mexico, on my NC700X set up as a light-weight tourer, I've decided to stick with the NC full time, and my Guzzi needs to find a new home.

750cc V-Twin, Shaft drive, ABS, Traction Control, 250 mile range, temperature, clock, gear position indicator, low seat height.

I’m asking $7,900 for it; this includes over $5,700 of additional accessories and the labor cost to install them. See lots of details below.

I bought the bike new last year at Hamlin Cycles in Bethel, Connecticut. It’s in near perfect condition, always garaged, with only 3,900 miles. I don’t think it has even been rained on. It is still under warranty for one more year, to June 2020.

Here is a list of the extras I added, and their initial cost. The prices below do not include what I paid Hamlin Cycles to install these items. My invoices show that I paid Hamlin Cycles over $1,900 for installation labor. (Invoices available for review.)

$1,000 Silver / Grey Gas Tank (like V7III Rough)
$330 Center Stand - Moto Guzzi OEM
$885 Upgraded Rear Suspension. K-Tech Razor Lite III shocks. Huge improvement over the stock rear suspension, which is much too stiff.
$555 Saddlebags. SW-Motech Legend Gear Canvas LC2 Saddlebags – 27L / Pair. Quick-release, easy-on, easy-off. Very classy, gives bike a nice
retro finished look, includes waterproof inner liner bags
$208 SW-Motech Saddlebag Mounting Kit
$200 New Retro side covers - BAAK. I have the stock side covers.
$238 Engine Crash Bars - Givi
$155 Skene P3 Rear LED Lights w Turn Signals. Very bright in running mode, even brighter with brakes on, huge improvement in rear visibility.
$30 Upgraded Horn - Denali Soundbomb Mini Horn. Not really much louder than stock horn, but a deeper (manlier) sound.
$50 RAM Mount Hardware for iPhone
$28 Dual USB Handlebar Outlet to Power your Phone
$25 Mirror Extenders. Greatly improves rear view.
$40 Fabricated aluminum multi-adjustable brake pedal adjuster.
$40 Fabricated aluminum multi-adjustable gear shift lever adjuster
$100 Upgraded aluminum adjustable brake and clutch levers (6-position)

$3,884 Total Accessories Cost
$1,900 Total Installation Labor Cost
$5,784 Total

Why Someone Should This Bike Instead of a Brand New Bike. There are still brand new 2017 V7iii Stones that you can purchase from Moto Guzzi dealers. You’ll see on Cycle Trader that prices around the country run from a low of $7,000 up to $8,500, depending on the color of the bike. However, theses prices don’t include the freight cost of $550, or dealer prep fee of $200. Also, the first service of this bike is at just 600 miles, which means the service cost of $340 should reasonably be included as part of the purchase price. Lastly, every dealer recommends that at the first service you also replace the stock plastic fuel pump/filter with an all metal fuel pump/filter for $300, because the ethanol in American gas quickly rots out the plastic in the stock one. Thus, these three unavoidable items add $1,390 to the dealer price of a brand new bike, which means that the true cost of a brand new bike is between $8,390 up to $9,890. If you then decided to do the same upgrades that I did for $5,700 (and really, why wouldn’t you?), your brand new bike would cost you between $14,090 and $15,590.

Instead, you can buy my bike for $7,900, and get what is basically a new bike, but with $5,700 of accessories and install labor. That’s a savings to you of between $5,000 and $7,000 !!

If you’re interested, PLEASE CALL ME at 914-216-9390. Or PM me.

Don’t email me, or text me, or send me a note by carrier pigeon. If you do, I will assume that you’re a scammer, and I won't respond.
