Up for sale is my 2015 Honda CB500X. I bought this bike from the original owner as my first bike in 2016 with 1400 miles on the clock. It is a GREAT first bike -- it's fairly light weight, has very predictable power, and is super-easy to ride. Plus it has enough power that you won't outgrow it for a long time. It can easily cruise at highway speeds, and I reliably got 62mpg. With a 4.7gal tank, you easily have a 200+ mile range.
I've used it mainly to commute to work. The bike has been to SF Moto for a couple of major services, but otherwise I have obsessively maintained it myself per the Honda recommendations. I've just changed the oil & filter, plus installed a brand-new battery and water pump. The tires, brakes, and chain still have a lot of life left. The bike has always been garaged and never been crashed, though I did have two zero-speed drops (one in my garage, one in a parking lot). It's registered through May 2022 and is ready to go.
