So up here in the Kawartha lakes I was able to get out for a ride today. It was sunny and 0°C so it was a very good test for the Gerbing heated vest and gloves. They performed great although I’m not sure they would be enough if it were any colder. Took a run threw part of the Canadian Shield some nice twisting roads and lots of rocks. Did not get back to the lakes as there is still some ice back in the woods. Got in about a 2 hour ride and just took it nice and easy because I didn’t really want to get into anything too adventurous for my first time out. Hear is a photo just south of the Kirkfield lift lock. I am just south of the Trent canal system.
