Have a guy on here interested in buying mine. I will try and do more research when I can get to a computer tomorrow. But I'd you guys can answer it would be much easier :) So basically I have a Corbin seat and Dale's rack off my 2015 NC700X, and possible buyer has a 18 NC750X.
I took off my rear rack, and I am trying put the original rear grab bars back on and I am having trouble figuring out how the little bracket that the prop rod slides in goes back on. The way that makes sense to me wont clear on the back side of the grab bar. If someone could snap a few close...
Got a nice cold *** ride to and from work today. Africa Twin got dropped off after 2 weeks at the dealer for warranty work while I was at work, looks like the NC is going back to being my rainy day only ride.
Rode it to work today, due to my Africa Twin not starting for the 5th or 6th time in just over the first 600 miles. Spent $640 to extend the warranty 2 years with road side assistance, never thought I would see the day I felt the need to buy an extended warranty on a Honda. Dealer is suppose to...
Noticed my front tire looked squishy yesterday, had under 10 PSI in it, thought the steering felt squishy but assumed I was just getting used to the Africa twin. So I took the wheel off to find some rim leaks, broke down the bead and scuffed and cleaned the wheel and tire, and aired it back up...
Hahaha good idea, that or just put some NC stickers on, that way it'll be reliable for sure. On the plus side I think the problem with the AT is the ground cable was loose, not super loose, but I've had weird issue with a loose or corroded ground cable. Crossing my fingers that is it, and i...
Rode her to work today because my Brand new Africa Twin Broke down of the second time with under 500 miles on it. Pretty annoyed with Honda right now, not only can i not trust my brand new bike, i had to call and scream and swear at them to get them to pick it up.
Changed the Air filter after after 17k miles. It was easy with the Youtube tutorial, I expected it to take hours from what I have read about replacing it.
Used it as a tool tray to put Happy Trail Pannier racks on my Africa twin. The weather is suppose to be nice enough to ride tomorrow. But my road will be so muddy that NC will probably be what I ride. The younger, taller, prettier virgin younger sister will probably stay at home, i gotta break...
I done gone done and did it. The hotter, faster, prettier, taller big sister got me to cheat on My NC. I hope polygamy works for me, I still like my NC a lot.
I kinda cheated. Got a price on a new 2017 Africa Twin. Stopping in lapeer on my way home from Grand Rapids tomorrow to see if I am tall enough for it.
Front- Shinko Adventure Trail E805 150/70/B17, I believe that one is 1" taller, and a little skinnier than stock
Rear- Continental Twinduro 120/70-17 I think that is the same size as stock
Not salt, its the dirt they use on my gravel road, it's kind of like baseball diamond dirt with gravel added(They put a few inches of it down last spring). But yes, I fired up the power washer and gave her a good cleaning after.
I ran this for one season, and gave it to my buddy and he ran it last season, (about 16k miles) still works great and weather proof. We are both pretty hardcore riders, rain or shine 30-100 degrees out. We off road and fall down as well, we both ran it bolted directly to the rack. This is...
