Now that I feel confident on my bike, I decided to put back original dogbones and raise suspension to original settings. Too bad the winter is still not going away.
First Gear heated jacket, gloves, socks; dual controller; voltmeter to make sure that alternator is not overpowered. If temperature is below 30 and there is a lot of highway riding, rain gear over everything else.

Went for a last ride in 2017. Tomorrow we'll see 3" of snow and after that, typically for Chicago, deep freeze. Today was around freezing and beautiful day along with good road conditions.

Packed the bike for one night camping trip to St Louis area. Four of us are leaving tomorrow morning. On Monday we'll be chasing solar eclipse :cool::cool::cool:.
I'm heading out tomorrow morning to Granite City, IL where I'll spend the night camping. Monday morning I'll check the forecast to try to go to the spot around St Louis with best chance of clear sky. I'm prepared for traffic congestion.
I like BMWs, but unfortunatelly I cannot afford them. My riding buddy rides R1200R and it's an amazing machine. That thing has it all: power, torque, comfort, good handling....
Still, I love healthy humor which is targeting BMW price tag. In this video, my favorite part is at 02:36...
