    Phuel phenomenon

Sorry I started this, just an observation and sharing that, not stating this as a norm or constant, if anything I filled the tank over what was originally used. Next time I'll just keep it to myself.

    2016 Honda NC700X Long-Term Review

I am constantly asked what it is, being black it doesn't look like the silver or red ones but I do get the "I've heard of those" from even Harley riders.

I Did it! I Ordered New Tires!!!

If I was setting up for more aggressive off roading this is the tyre I'd choose. And a skid plate + engine bars.

New NC700XD - very bouncy on the highway?

"Unfit for off roading"? Youtube is full of guys with significant off roading rides of factory stock bikes. I have 55 years in the saddle and find the NC near on perfect in every way as every vehicle is a compromise. Get to know your bike better, just ride it.

    Fork dust boots

Those will work but it is only an hours job to install real gaiters. , pull the front wheel and caliper drop the foks as a unit slide on the gaiters and it's done. The add a bit of detail to the front. Bonneville ones work.

    Hello from Scotland

That is the tool for the Highlands alright. When I lived in the UK I did some touring in Scotland, what a dynamic land. ,...........except for the weather that's why I relocated to Daytona beach. I miss Haggis in the morning with my eggs.

    Installing an alarm???

Don't know where you are located but the NC is not high on the stolen bike list if it even makes it on one. They didn't sell well there are plenty of 1-3 year old new ones sitting on show room floors . A good lock chain and floor anchor is best, up to you.

    Chain Breaker & Riveting Tool

I bought one, works well but you must take your time to line up the masher in the centre of the pin. To remove the chain I just use an angle grinder.

Do you think he might be setting up to exit the corner and shifting the peg pressure and body position?

Bike designed for tires - or Tires designed for bike?

The very best tyres I have ever fitted to any bike are Michelin PR3s , They were designed for most any bike you wanted to fit them on providing the sizes were available.

CONTINENTAL MOTION TIRES ?!?! Front/Rear set for $179 total

I'm getting about 4000 miles out of the stock Dunlop Trailmax rear. BUT took advantage of the Bridgestone rebate on a set of 023.....$129 delivered the set. I'll try them and with 4 bikes I'll put on about 4-5000 per year. I did hear about these Contis and decided against them.

    Fuel stabilizers

I purchased a 2005 FZ1 in 2012 with 2600 miles on it so it was fairly bunged up to say the least. I ran Sea foam, Gumout multi and Lucas fuel treatment. After about 10 fill ups I stuck with the Lucas because it undid all those years of neglect and still keeps my fuel fresh. I know these three...
