A few people have been scammed on the site, Only use paypal to pay for items for sale by other members. If they will not use paypal, its likely a scam NEVER SEND E-TRANSFERS OF ANY KIND.
Exactly this. The solution they found (key to DCT design) is two concentric cylinders with odd and even gears attached to each.
There is actually only a < 10% (WAG on my part) of the ECU preparing the wrong next gear. This is because the algorithm takes into account all the prior inputs from the...
I guess I should be happy to be able to ride, at least solo or with a few locals.
North GA forest service roads are all open as are most of the SM500 trails south of TN.
The only thing closed are the Fee-only campgrounds but dispersed camping (primitive) is allowed.
Two Wheels of Suches is still...
I was hoping the new AT would be the "baby AT" or at least its smaller brethren.
But looks like that is not going to happen due to models like the CB500x and the NC750X.
One could put a 19" wheel on the NC and do the rest of DIY "RallyRaid kit" upgrades.
But that would cost as much as a new AT...
Thanks for the confirmation, 670cc.
Not doing Snowbird this year.
I'll stick to the main strip, on my new...
you guessed it- Africa Twin DCT :)
See you @KSL
2020 CRF1100L = Home Run
IMO Honda's AT playbook has been planned way back when they released the 2016 models.
2016 AT was a hit to first base.
2017 AT were nothing but color changes
2018 they hit 2nd base wtih Throttle by Wire and additional power modes and drew many people towards the...
You must have been there when I wasn't :)
Can someone double check the dates? My calendar says week before Memorial day is THU 5/22~
I seem to have already missed KSL 11; don't want to miss this one.
Quite surprised to hear the Denali support answer.
It's not that complicated to make it work. The internal tech (circuit design) is complicated-
They tout their PWM tech to be superior than any other on the market- which so far I have no experience with.
I am installing a pair of DM and D2's on...
I've been playing with an older Denali wiring loom that preceded the current 2.0 version.
But AFAIK, the Datadim technology they tout in dual intensity lights is controlled by the separate module which usually is an add-on.
As you posted, the lights are on HI by default without the module...
Yup. Same sensor.
.
That's why the traction control was offline, also.
What complicated the problem with the malfunctioning ABS system was that I started
a clutch re-init that did not finish. There is a reason that the manual states not to start the initialize procedure with
DTC in memory (had...
It was thinking my rear was in the air.
I agree with everything 670cc said.
Doesn't make much sense on a Around The World capable bike.
But beggars can't be choosers- it's still my favorite tranny [emoji16]

It was not a problem related to DCT, per se.
The towing was necessary due to the clutch disengaging after riding a few minutes in 1st gear.
The only way for me to get out to civilization was to repeatedly restarting the bike.
Both my traction control and ABS fault indicators were flashing.
My...
I thought I had the bike sorted but after some interesting off road excursion in the Snowbird Mountain area it quit shifting (DCT). Hobbled out of the Nantahala Forest in first gear where I could get help to return to KSL

Bike trip turned into a van ride home.
Had the parkway all to myself [emoji3]
Day started with the return trip home to get a wheel spacer I forgot to put in yesterday after swapping my rims. Got to ride from 8:30AM to 7:30 today with unexpected lunch at home. Too bad it was all twisty pavement.
Got the bike sorted now.
