    Looking for Hippo Hands Recommendations

Socks made from a blend of merino wool and Australian possum fur. Possum fur is hollow like a polar bear and has natural oils that mitigate odor. They're also super soft. I bought them from this company. They're owned by a motorcycle/bicycle enthusiast. https://www.pearlyspossumsocks.com/

    Looking for Hippo Hands Recommendations

I'm looking to replace my old-style Hippo Hands for one of their newer sets. Has anyone fit a set recently to a DCT? Also, any recommendations for an equivalent product would be appreciated. My old set doesn't have much insulation and it fits alright, but it doesn't fit great around the...

Where do you think I should stick it?

When travelling, I stow the spare key in my money belt. This is really just a placebo to treat my paranoia. I've never lost a key while travelling. I don't bother when I'm close to home because I know I have a spare at home.

    Newest Farkle

I'm curious, do you use this information for anything, or do you just like knowing what the temperature is?

    What's your top recommend mod?

My advice is always to wait at least 6 months before modifying a bike. I've found that I have to allow enough time for me to adjust to the bike. There have always been things that seemed like an issue after a new purchase that aren't noticed after some time in the saddle. I always try my best...

Who covers their NC and with what brand/size etc?

The best and most affordable cover I've found is the one from Honda. It was affordable and has zipper extensions that fit the factory luggage options.

    Flashing Gear Indicator

This is a common issue for me. Turning the bike off/on seems to clear it. I have felt no ill effects while riding when it occurs. It's really more of an annoyance than anything else. I have tried clutch resets and new batteries and neither has fixed it. I asked the mechanic at my local...

Ok gang, who's using what for cruising pegs?

I don't know what year it was. I just assumed the foot peg brackets would be pretty standard on Hondas. I ordered a used set from Ebay and they fit.

Safety Course: MSF vs Hareley Academy

This is good news and removes all of my apprehension about the course. For what it's worth, it's only $150 here for adults and free for minors.

Safety Course: MSF vs Hareley Academy

Can anyone share thoughts on the difference between the MSF course and the Harley Riding Academy for a beginning rider? I have a friend that is interested learning to ride and she's looking toward me as her personal expert. Naturally, I'm encouraging her to take a beginning rider course as the...

Ok gang, who's using what for cruising pegs?

Probably not what you're looking for, but I replaced the stock pegs with Gold Wing pegs. The larger surface area helps on long stints

    Information MPG at high speeds

I get ~55mpg (US), but that with side cases and a top box. Side cases seem to really affect things more than anything else

    MotoGP Suffers Audience Decline

I've thought of switching from F1 to Motogp (only have time/energy to follow one sport), but the online subscription is twice that of F1. The racing's much better, but is it twice as good? MotoGP=$150/year F1=$80/year

    Question Mirror wideners?

While riding in Mexico, the only place I've filtered, I did tap my mirror against a truck mirror once. I'd say they're slightly less capable of filtering with mirror wideners but are mostly perfectly fine. Just don't filter without assessing the space first

    Question Mirror wideners?

For me, the mirrors were the main source of turbulence and buffeting. Mirror wideners solved the issue. Buffeting can be weirdly specific to the rider

    Question Mirror wideners?

I bought the cheap Chinese aluminum set from Ebay a few years ago. The function is good. The paint flaked off pretty quick and the bolt heads are getting rusty. They are a very good cheap alternative if you're not obsessed with appearance. If I had t to do over again, I would have spent more...
