Thanks. That is pretty insightful. Looks like the 2015 was a complete upgrade and overhaul of the circuit. They even have indicators to troubleshoot or figure out if there is an issue. Too bad, I have the old one.

Just successfully installed Rox 2" pivot risers on a 2014 DCT. I did need to loosen some cabling, but otherwise install was straightforward. The 3.5" pivot risers did not fit.

Thanks all. Ordered the part same day, but have received it yet. In the meanwhile the super glue on the filter has held up. Ridden it 250 miles (5 days, 50 miles/day) on the highway. No leaks yet. I don't expect it to last, but in a pinch the fix held up so far.

If I try to replace the cover with a new one, Would I need to replace all the oil...I wonder if it would drain the engine? Anyone done this before.

Got the GearBrake from Amazon with the NC connectors. It was plug and play. Works like a charm. Stuffing all that wiring in the under wheel well compartment was a pain though. It did not close completely. Anyone face similar issues?

Thinking of installing extra tail lights, and came across this product VoloMod. Then found another similar product GearBrake. They are more expensive than a $10 brake modulator, but work through de-acceleration (auto stop light). Vololights: Brakeless Deceleration Indicator for Motorcycles...

I am thinking of adding an additional LED tail and brake light. Rather than complicate things, I plan to use a Posi-Tap to tap and maybe Posi Lock to link the tap to the extra light. Has anyone done this, or can advise on the size of the wire gauge 16, 18, 22, etc.? Any suggestions?

Spent 2 hrs today and replaced the fuse with a 3A one. A picture is attached of what the holder looks like. The original 1 amp fuse blew when I plugged in a tire inflator.

That I did not realize. I checked the main fuse box. Do I need to remove the left panel to get at the fuse?

Is there an easy way to check the relays or wiring? My 12v OEM socket is not working. I checked the fuses and they look good.

Just installed the Kijima engine guards for the NC700xd (DCT). Works fine. I think it would work fine in low/no speed drops. The weakest link being the u-bolt, but that's a good thing (it should take a hit, absorb some force and break off) Next step is mounting the highway pegs, and fog...
