Well I took the plunge and ordered the givi trekker outback 58L topcase this week and the prices were so much better with the flat rate international shipping that I thought what the heck for $126 I will just add the givi crash bars too. I'll post pics once I get it mounted.

So for the givi 58L outback trekker topcase what mount and mounting hardware do I need?

Thanks a bunch number and fast for throwing up those photos. I do think it looks quite large by its self but I also bout the bike for its utility and don't know that I truly care what it looks like. I'm thinking I could fit a full riding suit n the 58L and that's appealing.

I would think the only way to get that actual look would be to powder coat it. Which means a complete tear down to bear frame and rebuild. I could be wrong but I'm guessing you would be looking in the $1K plus range for that kinda of work unless you can do the tear down and rebuild yourself.

Max any chance you would post a couple photos of just the topcase? I'm thinking that although the 58 is obviously large that the panniers being mounted with it are making it look more visually balanced.

Fast could you do me a huge favor and take a few pictures with just the topcase mounted, I eventually want that exactly setup but won't be able to afford the panniers in the near future. So want to get an idea of just how big the 58 looks when it has nothing under it.

I'm hoping to get ahold of one of these exhausts as well. I may just try to order one an see what happens.

So need advice I want to go with the Givi Trekker Outback topcase either the 42 or 58 liter version. I would love the extra room of the 58 liter but at 555mm/ 22in do you guys think that it would be just way too large for the NC?

I'm thinking of ordering this pipe as well, only problem is I'm currently stationed in CA and they won't ship here. Anyone know what the law is that makes this not legal/ can explain this?

Looking for suggestions on places to ride out of Monterey. I'm open to anything but have already been up to San Francisco and north on 5. Maybe moderate distance say 2 hours or just over that each way. Any ideas? Places to eat would be great as well.
