I don't have much mechanical experience, so sorry if this question seems too basic. I want to install an inline taillight flasher (Vizi-Tek SupaBrake), but I don't know a) how to release the top tab to separate the two halves of the wiring connector, and b) whether or not the bottom of connector...
Selling a stock front seat that was taken off a low mileage 2015 NC700X (and replaced with a Sargent). Condition is excellent. No grommets/bushings included. The seat is listed on eBay for $78, but my fellow forum members can have it for $45 + shipping. (Or local pick-up here in Orange County, CA.)

This 40-second video shows three items I just added to my 2016 Honda NC700XD: 1) a second Fiamm horn, 2) a headlight modulator and 3) a radiator guard.
Two years ago I replaced the stock horn with (a relay and) a single, low-tone Fiamm horn. This second one is the...
MiG: Per my photo earlier in this thread, I have my 20" Madstad all the way down and tilted with top furthest toward rider. Ideal angle will depend on rider's torso length and riding position. I don't use risers. I'm 6'0", 32" inseam.
The light gray tint reduces glare a bit, while still maintaining excellent see-through of the road directly in front of the bike. I never considered clear. Madstad says light gray is the most popular choice also. (I've seen photos of the dark gray version... it looks like your bike's been...
You can see the new Givi tank bag in this photo from my Dana Point ride today. Secure at 80+ mph speeds. Easy to access water bottle at red lights, etc. (Before this I used to leave my frunk ajar/unlocked for water bottle access. Now the frunk stays closed/locked.)
Silver: Well, if you SQUISH the Givi bag, I guess it would fit inside the frunk. I plan to keep stuff in both locations (frunk and tank bag). Yes, I saw Twisted Throttle as "out of stock" too. I ordered/paid, then a month or so later... voila! It arrives!
After a 2+ month backorder wait, I just received the new Givi EA116 tank bag from Twisted Throttle. It's designed to fit 2016+ NC700X/NC750X. It fits securely, looks good and detaches quickly so I can easily take my "stuff" into a restaurant, etc. I'm not a fan of panniers, so this new Givi...
It will conform a little to your butt shape and weight, but not much. 150 miles is a moderately good 1-day ride. There's a chance your discomfort was partially due to newness of the Sargent. Give it a bit more time.
I love my Sargent front seat (only). Matches perfectly with the factory rear. I like the option of leaning off and moving around on a saddle, so non-squishy saddles like Sargent and Corbin (and sometimes BMS) are the only options for me.
Silver, thanks for your comment. I agree with...
Of course!
...but I respectfully disagree with the rest:
Over the past four decades motorcycling I've learned to constantly keep my head moving on a swivel. My "no no" was delivered while visually checking out the lane 50 feet ahead. Some...
Enjoy watching this 5-minute Riding with Lee video titled "Malibu, Mulholland and Lane Filtering." Four of us (Bob, Patch, Steve and Lee) ride through the sweepers and canyons of Malibu, across Mulholland Highway and up the Snake to the Lookout. Along the way you'll see (legal in California)...
