    SLOOOW oil leak?

One question, are you running synthetic or conventional oil in said bike?

    nc700sa track day

I had my old ZX10R up to 191 mph multiple times....105 on the NC feels like driving 55 in a family sedan. Lol

Made the upgrade from 700X DCT -750X DCT - Here's what you need to know.

Liability *only. Liability is a requirement by law here as well.

    nc700sa track day

Here's my NC700X on track stateside! Skip to about 3:30-ish to where I start passing a few folks in turns. NC is slow, but I catch up with them in the turns!

Made the upgrade from 700X DCT -750X DCT - Here's what you need to know.

I know one thing, I'll never have liability insurance again, on ANYTHING. Thankfully I had full coverage when that old lady ran me off the road on my cruiser a couple months ago....Allstate is paying me more for that bike than I could have sold it for, and they are paying $1000 toward my medical...

    NC700x without back seat

Do you have any luggage accessories for it? (Side cases, top box, etc)

    Crashed the cruiser! :(

It was a novelty helmet, although I don't see a DOT half helmet serving much different in the same circumstances. But who knows, really....it might have. I guess the thicker, denser foam inside would provide a little more shock absorption protection.

    Crashed the cruiser! :(

Yeah kind of what I was thinking. If I was coherent at the scene, it have likely went much differently. Lol

    Random thoughts / pics thread

Got out with the girlfriend on the NC this weekend and rode through some backroads around Little River Canyon and stopped for some scenic views! I love it up there! First ride on 2 wheels since crashing the cruiser on Dec 9th! Really surprised she wanted to ride with me after the crash, she's...

    Crashed the cruiser! :(

Well I started a claim with my insurance so it will be covered either way, but the way they wrote the wreck report up, based on what she told them only, it looks like my fault. So, I've enlisted the help of a friend of mine who is a seasoned attorney to try and pin this on her insurance. The...

    Crashed the cruiser! :(

Welp...was gonna run to town to pick up some parts for my truck on my cruiser Dec 9th, and some old lady merged over on me in my lane and bumped me off the road. Locked brakes down and slid straight into sidewalk curb in the middle of town and crashed as soon as I hit the curb. Don't remember...

    New CB1100X

Sounds like it will be more of a touring bike than the offroad-ness of the AT.

    New CB1100X

Hope this happens. Plenty power crossed with practicality. The 1100AT is a good platform for this bike. Especially if it will be available with the DCT like the AT already is. If this shit happens, I will be making a purchase. Plenty power, 17" wheels, dual front brakes, inverted forks, and...

Is this normal.on stock break pads?

As long as your front brake is solid, shouldn't be that big a deal. Should be using front brake more than rear anyways. If really needing to stop in a hurry, using the rear brake in unison with the front brake will reach maximum stopping power, but rear brake alone will not slow you down enough...

Is this normal.on stock break pads?

Gotta be, or you have a bad seal around a line connection to either the caliper or master cylinder, allowing air in the system. Or there's an issue with the master cylinder. If you run out of options, rig up something to keep the brake lever pressed down, lean something on it or tie something...

Is this normal.on stock break pads?

Spongey has nothing to do with pads. Sounds like you need to bleed the line. No lever should be spongey whether pads are worn out or brand new.

Is this normal.on stock break pads?

My point was that context is everything. You could have two identical bikes set up the exact same way, but two very different riders with different riding styles, and have components like pads and rotors wear out at drastically different intervals. To just post a pic of a worn out rotor and say...

    Bike Found! Bike Found!

The NC750X did not come out until 2018 in the US. 2012-2017 NC's were all 700's, but in 2016 they went to the new body style. Still same engine though. I found a really nice 1 owner 2016 NC700X loaded with the full oem luggage kit (side cases and top box). Bought it back at the end of the...

Is this normal.on stock break pads?

They have to break in. In a week or two, depending on how much you ride, you will notice a difference. You had rotors worn to the pads that were on it before....now you've put new pads on used rotors and the surfaces do not match. Once the new pads wear to the rotors, or vice versa, they will...
