    Programming new key - HISS

Unique situation for me in Kingman, AZ: I have 2 keys for my 2016 NC700. Bought a blank from Revzilla. 2 key shops in town have the laser cutter but my blank wont fit in their machines. Had an experience last year which included my keys being stolen so I like the idea of the third key. Cost me...

2020: What did you do to/with your NC700 today?

Installing my Wheleen LED tail and brake lights, removed from my previous NC Nancy (RIP). The Whelen LIN3 is the best brake light made. In the process, found out the stock tail/brake light is also LED, no upgrade needed there. But more on the rear is always better, I've been rear ended before.

    Low fuel warning failure

On my 2016 XD, the low fuel warning has quit working. I had let the miles build until really concerned about running out. Fill up took 3.625 gallons, too close for comfort. Already checked, the fuel level sensor isn't available separately, it's included with the fuel pump at ~$500. I can live...

Information Help me fix my wrecked NC!

Rick and his young salesmen took care of me. I was I pressed with their new and used stock, FJR, Africa Twin, Indian flat tracker, several others. I rode a new (2018) Gold wing, like it fine but too rich for my blood. I'm third owner on the NC with only 2600 miles. SW-Motech got back to me...

Thanks for all the quick responses, folks. SW-Motech shows a fully outfitted NC on their web site, and it shows on a couple other sites, but can't find their Aero bags. Maybe Europe only?

Information Help me fix my wrecked NC!

Meant to add, bought it in Decatur, IL at Power Sports, multi brand dealer with a huge showroom of new used bikes. I'm third owner with only 2600 miles. IL is good for me as paperwork is more simple. After fiddling with electric and such yesterday, was reminded of how much a PITA this bike is...

    DCT Fault. Argh!

Did you have the same problem on your 750? First I've heard on a newer bike. You will see elsewhere, Nancy has gone to the big breaker in the sky. Nancy 2 is now in the garage, 40,000 fewer miles and no shifting problems. All is good in NW Arizona. Glad to hear my tips helped.

Bikewas totalled for pretty minor damage, still rideable. My Progressve insurance gave me book for the bike and full retail for all accessories, plus State Farm is reimbursing Medicare and sending me $2500 for pain and suffering. Replacement is in the garage, 2016 NC700X DCT with 2600...

changing air filter little bit complicated...

I've changed mine twice. Fiddly but not a game stopper. After market filters are available much cheaper than Honda OEM. I change'em at 24,000 mile intervals. I'll not run K&N. I punch the fasteners thru a piece of cardboard, in order, as I remove them. Check Engine light will stay on if ya...

    Rear wheel bearing failure

Received new "generic" pair of rear wheel bearings from CBR Bearings, Los Angeles. Salesman mentioned the cush drive bearing and included the part number. I was not aware of this third bearing. It is a proprietary bearing, used only in the various NC/CTX model Hondas. Available only from Honda...
