I just got back from my longest ride since buying the bike 5 years and 12k miles ago. I'm on a 2012 NC700X manual with soft saddle bags, stock windshield, and a seat concepts seat. I went more than 200 miles from outside of Boston to the Adirondacks, north and east of Saratoga. It took 5 hours...
I just rode to work after filling my tires. Unfortunately, I somehow loosened the valve stem in the rear. Let me tell you, this bike does not handle well with very little air in the rear tire. It was so low, the side stand would barely go down. I've never been so glad to get to work!
I ride in the Scorpion Coverts and love them. They’re comfortable with knee and hip armor and I’ve been told they look good. They are not hot and have lots of kevlar all the way down. I tried a lot of bike jeans and hated all of them but these.
