I have the 2019 NC750X DCT. Soupy lowering kit installed (down 1 inch) and wonderful for my 32" inseam. The good news is I can flat foot both sides when required and feel much safer. The bad news is I purchased an SW-Motech center stand - installed it yesterday and to my dismay does not work. Because the bike is lowered, the standard center stand size simply does not function. You'd have to be Arnold Schwarzenegger to get the bike up on that stand. I'll be removing the new stand this weekend.

So - my question is what are my options.
1) should I purchase the NC750S center stand? Will that work?
2) I've seen as "Asian Edition" center stand that is 270mm tall. Does anyone have experience with that stand on an NC750X?
3) give up and live with side stand... :(
4) any other ideas?

Love the bike. Pure enjoyment riding this machine. But I'd really like the added enjoyment of a center stand.

I use my center stand mainly for chain maintenance at home. Maybe you could consider a shop stand. Something like this:

Had to roll the bike backwards onto two 2x6's.. so total 3 inches of wood. Only then would the center stand work. One 2x6 was not enough.

I find it extremely difficult to get the bike up on it's center stand and usually ask my son to help me. At age 50, I am worried about tweaking my back. It isn't light and I haven't been able to find that magical grab or leverage point. I stand on the center stand piece that sticks out, pull up, pull back, it's real finicky and seems more difficult than it should be.

One of the advantages of riding with others as a new rider, is that you can see how others do it. I had trouble getting my GL650 and 500 on the center stand until I saw another "old guy" during a group ride put his CX500c on his center stand at the gas pump. He didn't pull back on the handle bars like I was, but pulled up on the bottom edge of the seat while pressing down on the stand lever. We do want the bike going up and that made getting it on the stand much easier. I don't know if this will help on a NCx. I am 66.

It's not about technique, it's about leverage. The center stand is made to length for a stock height bike. When you try to use that center stand on one that has been lowered 1-2", it is far more difficult to get it up on the center stand than if it was at stock height.

When I bought my first NC last year, it had been lowered about 2". I was in the process of raising it back to stock height and put the center stand on first to help with this. I put the center stand on and tried to put the bike up on it, and struggled pretty badly, and I am a fairly strong guy at 6'1" 215 lbs and the ripe age of 33. After I got the bike raised back to stock height, it was MUCH easier to put up on the center stand.

My suggestion to the OP is to buy the NC7xxS stand or have the legs of the one you have shortened at a fab shop. I believe the NC7xxS stand will work though, think I've saw other threads on using that stand for lowered bikes, but I could be wrong. Confirm for yourself the differences in ground clearance on both and you'll be good. If the ground clearance is 1-2" shorter than the NCX, you should be good to go.

I thought about lowering my NC700. I purchased the soupy links and a centerstand and kickstand for a 700S. Haven't tried to mount them, but read about others doing this mod. I've decided to keep it stock.
I'd offer to sell you the center stand, but I don't know if it will fit the 750.

All that should be the same between the two models.

Couple of notes on this - I've waisted quite a bit of money on this "centerstand" journey - so maybe this will save someone a few dollars.
1) the NC700 will fit in the mounting holes on the 750. It's approx. 1 inch lower than normal 750 height. This STILL did not work.
2) also purchased the "Asian" short version of the stand. STILL did not work. (Now I'm out $400).
3) The ONLY solution is from Capeman. Measured clearance from the mounting hole to ground (with rear end on lift) and took stand to welder.
Finally - a centerstand for my short height!! :) Thanks Capeman.

There is no difference in height between a 700 and 750. Both use same center stand.

Finally..
Side note - hit a bad pot hole yesterday while out and about. The center stand sits a few mm lower than the suspension. The stand took the hit. (Instead of the suspension.) Much better.

Used the Soupy links and adjusted 1.5 in lower in back and moved up fork tubes 20mm. I have the factory center stand and a taller rear tire 160/70 also have Racetec H/D springs up front. When using the center stand it now requires alot more force and the side stand works fine. Ok for me might be a problem for others.

Good thing I found this link before my NC700X center stand shipped. I attempted to contact the seller to cancel & said I'd order the stand for the NC700S because I'll be putting Soupy's lowering links on once my garage is above freezing. Maybe in March.
