I appreciate it guys. But I think I've had it here. @670cc @admin – please delete my account and all posts as there don't seem to be any user options to do so.

It gets tiring making it about the bike and not the scene sometimes. ...Hope you get more likes than I ever have. At least then you'll feel like you're connecting with people. I should probably just delete my account here. Thanks, 76Hawke, for taking the time to sometimes comment and all that. I like that spot scene you just shared.
Dude, don't go. As a former photography teacher, I've always enjoyed your photos and appreciated the compositions. You live in a much different part of the country from myself and I am always amazed at the views. Apologies for not always commenting, I run out of superlatives. Anyway, don't you do it for the joy?

Yeah. Which I'll have either way. Account gone, I'll not be tempted to keep posting. We all move on, I guess...

Today, I wired the Garmin and phone holder onto the GL650. Put the Garmin mount on. Then took the GL500 for a spin. Haven't ridden her for a while so had to crank to get gas into the carburetors. Won't miss carerators on the NC750x when I get one
Was kind of cold with mesh jacket and pants over shorts. Also, took the Spitfire windshield off of the 500 to replace the handlebar clamp on the GL650 that dropped off The Slipstreamer Turbo shield during a group ride last month. It is surprising how much that little Spitfire windshield protects you from the wind.

Deja vu. We did this post delete thing once before. You sure you want to do it again?

Don’t do it. Once we get more guys to start posting pictures, GB will have no choice but to jump back in and save us from ourselves. Just wait till he sees The stuff I usually conjure up with my IPhone.

GB...don’t-make-me-do-it.

Kept it short today, under 170 miles. A few things I saw (the bottom one especially I like seeing larger on flickr, though in general most of my photos were shot with large representation in mind):

I'm a bit of a child. Jaws music played in my head when I saw this one...

Are you riding or trailering for the swap? Good opportunity to tick off a couple more states.. Congrats on the trade - you waited a long time for this. Enjoy the new bike!

Thanks Red. I decided to load it into the truck and haul it there for the sake of expediency. Great minds think alike though, while i'm there i will be riding in Iowa, SD, Minnesota and Nebraska! Now to try and figure out how to update my map with California with the new format we have... :{P

Removed the oem Dunlops Trailmax turd tires on the road bike last night. Slapped on the Road 5's I pulled off of my other NC shortly after I bought it last year. Freebie used tires. Maybe I will get another 3-4k miles out of them. I know one thing, rear axle was dry as a bone, chain was a little too tight, and I liked to never got the axle out when removing the rear wheel. Sanded axle down and greased it good before reinstalling.

Also got the newly built forks put back under the track bike and mostly reassembled, minus brakes. Didn't have any brake cleaner, so I am gonna grab some after work, clean the front caliper up pistons up, grease the pin and reinstall.

Will also install the new MFW Vario foot peg risers as well on the track bike, although I'm afraid doing this will eliminate one problem and introduce a new one. I doubt I will be scrubbing pegs as much on track, but I believe the next thing to scrub will be the $500 carbon Yoshi exhaust. I def don't want to ruin a good exhaust. I thought about putting the Yoshi on my road bike and putting the oem exhaust off the newer road bike onto the older track bike. Kinda would like to buy a Coffman exhaust for the track bike, but got others things that I need to buy first. Not sure what I'm gonna do there yet.

Left is a Michelin Power Cup Evo, right is a Dunlop Q3. Both 160/60/17, Q3 is much wider. The Pirelli TD on rear of my track bike now is even narrower than the Power Cup Evo. Just an observation. Not sure which track i am going to next, if Barber I will intall the Power Cup Evo rear, if Talladega GP, I will leave the Pirelli TD rear on and finish off the left side of it.

I search for my future NC750x multiple times a day. (my NC750x activity.) I am curious: Where do they or did they sell the NC700s? I don't think they were available in the USA. I only see mention of them in Europe. They look more like a street bike and not an adventure hybrid. Seating looks better.

Thanks!

I'm confused, did I miss something? Why have you had it here, because you aren't getting as many "likes" as you'd prefer? I post pics all the time and don't really care who "likes" them LOL.

I assure you anyone who sees any of your pictures enjoys them and even envies the fact that you live near such beautiful scenery.

Correct, the S did not come to the US. Seating doesn't look much different to me. It's basically just a naked version of the X model that sits a bit lower. Nothing advantageous over the X model that I can tell. The X model will handle just as well, if not better due to being higher and allowing for more lean angle clearance (if that is your thing).

The S's seat looks broader/squarer and a little less push toward the front.
