Hi Guys,

I want to adjust the rear sag for my weight, What should I be looking at for a sag number to target?
This is an NC750x, not sure that matter as I'm guessing the NC700 is the same setup.

The industry norm for road bikes is 35% of wheel travel with you on bike, wearing all your normal gear.

Not that getting it right matters much with the NC's stock spring unless you weigh about as much as the squirrel that got scared off the road by the bad loud pipe ; }

In that case probably better to shoot for 25-29% IMO.

I have generally used (from RaceTech) 25 - 35% of total travel for "race sag" or "rider sag," meaning with you aboard wearing all your gear, and any luggage and cargo you normally have with you.

What I call static sag (sometimes called "free sag"), or the sag of just the bike on its wheels, should be about 1/3 of the race sag amount.

If you adjust your shock and forks to give your desired race sag, but your static or free sag is basically zero, that tells you your springs are too soft for your weight.
