    Tire wear

This is valuable data, thanks for sharing it. Aside from tire choice there's many variable that can effect tire wear. I'm curious to know if there's any "general" consensus on the Forum for front vs back wear/tire life. I've owned my 2013 NC700 for about five years. I'm currently on my...

    Looking For Opinions: Touring Mods

Hey Dave, can you please elaborate on the BMWMOA? Should we assume that you own a BMW and are therefore able to get membership benefits when traveling on any bike or just a BMW?

    Gators/Boots for fork protection

I've seen a bunch of photos on the Forum of NC's with boots installed on the front forks. I prefer the rubber, accordion style rather than something made of neoprene. Lots of the rubber ones are sold online, but unfortunately I can't seem to find one that's specific to the NC700 to ensure a...

Hi Weber, not sure if you're still active on this site, but I'm hoping you might have a free moment to help me. I read a post related to your 1/2" emt conduit bars, but unfortunately the link and searches doesn't bring anything up on the Forum. I'm looking to make a rack system for some...

    braided break line question

Hoping to get some insight from anyone with an NC who's replaced the stock front break line with a braided line. This would be mainly for improved (faster) emergency breaking. My local shop mechanic made the suggestion, but it would be good to know what issues and performance improvements to...

    Mystery Windshield Mounting

I was recently shopping on Amazon for bike parts and stumbled across a very interesting looking windshield mounting system. One guy with an NC posted a picture of his newly installed engine guards, but I was more intregiued with his windshield mounting. I'm hoping someone on the Forum can...

Hey Ken, I was just admiring one of your bike photos. Curious to know where you purchased the back support for seat and which crash bars you installed? Both look good! Richard

    Need Help DCT Transmission Question

Thanks guys, really helpful feedback! Good to know my DCT is working properly. I'm happy riding in "S" mode and reserving "D" for the freeway.

    Need Help DCT Transmission Question

Hoping someone with an older DCT model can respond to this..... I have a 2013 DCT, which I've owned for over a year. Since day one I've always kept the bike in "S" mode which seems to keep the proper gear and provide more power when needed. Today I decide to play with the "D" mode and see how...

    12,000 mile Brake Fluid Replacement

Dave, you're awesome! this level of detail is exactly what I and many others need and will benefit from. Thanks much! I was disappointed Honda didn't include break fluid replacement in the service manual, but I guess there's some liability issues.

    Auxiliary Light Location Help....please

I'm purchasing a couple 2", 10watt LED lights to enhance daytime conspicuousness and nighttime visibility. I've come up with two possible mounting locations without needing to buy a light bar or engine guards. Option #1- Mounting the lights to the bolts holding the front fender. This...

    Fork Oil.

So would the opposite be true... a thinner viscosity oil providing more brake drive and a smoother suspension response over pumps. I definitely won't be experimenting with this. Just curious if anyone has found an oil that they believe works better than the stock oil. Thanks!
