How about a game of NC tag? Its a lot of fun!

It's just something I've always taken for granted, if you look on autotrader here they'll almost always have plates blurred too, and Google had to do it for street view too. It might be that car cloning is not that common out of the UK? This is one of the more well known examples from a couple...

How about a game of NC tag? Its a lot of fun!

Exactly what grey1 said, I had a friend who had apparently knocked a cyclist off his bike with his work van. The only reason he didn't have to waste time arguing it in court is because his boss had recently fitted the vans with sat trackers (and he was 30 miles away working in a police station...

Hello from Iowa: Is this bike for me?

I think the HJC's (depending on which one) all use the same shell size, so you might be OK (I have an HJC FG17). I don't think you'd dislike the bike at all though, I wanted pretty much the same as you (actually, what I wanted was a two wheeled car I think that I could still filter with). A...

    Mounting!

So it's not just me, that makes me feel loads better! I picked up a sidestand puck for £3 from Halfords and use that when it's soft. I've never had it sink under me though - it moves around a bit, but I normally get my weight over the middle as much as I can before I stand on it anyway!

    Mounting!

Does anybody else have a 700/750 with panniers and a top box? How do you get on yours, I'm hoping I'm not the only person who takes the equestrian approach? I'm not as flexible as I once was, so I tend to mount the nearside peg, throw my leg over like its a stirrup, and vice versa to...

How about a game of NC tag? Its a lot of fun!

I'm going to have to break the rules and put the next tag in a follow up post as I don't have an SD reader at work, so in the interim I have a potato quality phone picture of mine with a lighthouse. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a lighthouse near Portsmouth without going on a...

    Hi from the UK

Well these things are put there to test us - though I think my Mrs would be narked if I prang my bike 3 days after I pick it up! Solentbiker - I was born in Gosport, managed to escape to Devon for 5 years, and then ended up back. You can never escape...

    Hi from the UK

As promised, I have finally gotten around to getting a couple of pictures of her from the camera! Not long after this, I chanced the uphill path to the left of the first picture to try and get a view of the cement works from the top. It was a (very) twisty grass and mud track, less...

    Loomies Cafe or Boxhill meet.

Pretty sure Loomies is closing soon... But yeah, name a place and I'll be there! Solentbiker - did you get your 750 from crescent?

    Hi from the UK

So I picked her up on Friday, pics to follow. I'm a third of the way to her first service already, which means only about 90 miles of being overly gentle. I've hit a couple of unsealed roads, though with today's downpours the one up a hill alongside a quarry was, um, interesting! So far fuel...

    Breaking - Locking up

I'm late to the party, but I didn't see this mentioned and it might help somebody else with the same issues (hopefully OP you've sorted it in a year and a bit!) - my CBR is a nightmare for locking up the back under quick downchanges - the biggest thing that tamed it was learning to blip the...

    Hi from the UK

Ah Surrey - you're not far from where I'm working (Midhurst, West Sussex). I'm currently beavering about on an OS map planning some lunchtime rides - my buddy came off his Tiger last week so we've resolved we'll treat the two of them to some "proper" roads as soon as he's healed up (they reckon...

    Hi from the UK

Hi everyone, I was directed here by another member from Advrider and thought I should introduce myself. I'm from the supposedly Sunny south Coast of England and have been riding off and on (125s) since 2003. Last year I finally got my full license out the way and bought a 1994 CBR 600 with...
