The info I got from the dealer was that the previous owner had the bike custom painted in Atomic Orange. He also imported the lights and had them installed. I cant verify any of that, but It seems feasible.
2010 NT700V. The wife has developed an interest in riding and likes the NC, so I needed something else to ride. Found this locally with 6k miles on it. It is pretty sweet.
I've used the X-grip in the car for a couple of years now, and for this season on the bike without any issues. That said, my iPhone lives in an Otterbox Defender when it is on the bike and I use the lanyard that came with it to loop around the handlebars and provide a secondary attachment in...
Thanks for all the responses and for putting up with my ignorance. This is my first bike and a lot of this stuff is brand new for me.
I will keep riding and quit worrying about it. It doesn't seem to be affecting handling at all.
I agree that more curves are in order. I commute around 40...
Truth be told, I am guessing at 6300 miles. That is the mileage on the bike. I bought it at 4300 miles. I didn't think Bridgestones were stock, but wondered why the previous owner would have swapped tires so soon. So do I need to replace this?
Can some of you who know more about bike tires than I do tell me if this looks like normal wear to you? The ridges where the tire is flattening out are worrying me a bit.
Tire is a Bridgestone Battlax BT-023R with 6300 miles on it.
Rode from Southern Wisconsin to Lake Huron last weekend. Not technically today but I am a bit of a slowpoke. Many thanks to StratTuner for his post on bags and rack.
I have a 2013 NC700X with just under 5000 miles on it. A few days ago, I noticed that when the bike is in neutral and I release the clutch lever, there is a humming noise. When the lever is pulled in it disappears. I put the bike up on a stand and fired it up in neutral and there is no movement...
I have a clear Puig on my NC700. Definitely a significant improvement over the stock screen. It was really easy to install and the price was right.
Not sure how it will fall in your vision at your height. I am 6'1" and the screen is well under my line of sight.
I trailered my bike home because I didn't have my endorsement yet. Used ratcheting tie down straps on the triple clamp to secure it to a U-haul motorcycle trailer. The straps were new. I bought them because they were motorcycle specific and had loops to put the strap hooks through so nothing...
HJC IS-Max
It is modular and the 3XL that I need for my giant melon fits in the frunk.
One day, I will probably spring for something nicer, but this does the job for now.
I play. Mostly fingerstyle acoustic. I've played acoustics through bass amps before and it wasn't horrible.
Not really sure about bass instruction, but justinguitar is a great free resource for learning six string.
