    An old new rider...

The main differences will be the seating position and storage. Even if you only do casual, light distance weekend riding, I really feel you will love the storage on the NC. So easy to grab a sandwich, or just lock up your gloves and helmet if you want to take a stroll, or pick up an item or...

    What's on your motorcycle

Before the bike left the dealer I had it wired up for my heated jacket and a lead for my emergency battery jump start kit. My old bike frequently had low battery from running heated gear and needed to be jumped in the cold. Of course, since I went to the trouble to prevent this, the Honda has...

Price drop on 2017 models once 2018 NC750X comes out?

If my experience is a guide, they may be a steal. Last summer I paid about 4500 OTD for a new leftover 2014 manual trans in Pennsylvania. I had a great experience with Williamsport Honda and can recommend them, and at that price no other bike came close.

    Suggestions for new tires?

I just put on a set of Pirelli Angel Sport Touring tires a month ago. They were available in the stock size from Revzilla for about 100 each. I'm not a knee dragger, but I have been extremely happy with the tires in all types of weather. Highly recommended!

How many pairs of gloves do you have?

I just splurged on a ventilated leather glove from Icon (about 90 bucks) that are my new go-to for warmer weather. The airflow is excellent for a full leather glove and the quality seems to be there. I have had them a couple months and would recommend the brand. So now I have 4 pairs. Those...

    Seat advice

Thanks to everyone who chimed in with advice. I think any seat would be an improvement over stock, and since I hate waiting for anything I buy, I think I'm going with the Sargent, which is in stock at revzilla. The slightly lower height hasn't been an issue for most, and since I was previously...

    Seat advice

Hi everyone! 1600 miles in and I'm loving the bike, but the seat is uncomfortable after a few hours. I am willing to spend 300-400 on something new, and don't need to replace the passenger seat at this time. Here are my issues: -At 6 foot 4, I LIKE the height of the bike and have no interest...

    Seen in the wild

I see bikes everyday on my Brooklyn-to-Manhattan commute, but have not seen an NC yet! I've seen a silver one by Prospect Park before: anyone from this forum? I've enjoyed everyone's tips and stories. 1200 miles on my new NC in 2 weeks, and definitely the favorite of the 5 motorcycles I've owned.
