My career of choice was education. I started as an Industrial Arts teacher, morphed into a vocational teacher, became an Apprentice Trainer for Siemens, morphed again into an assistant principal, retired and now I'm a half-time Intervention Coordinator at a College and Career Academy. I also coached wrestling, football and track along the way and managed to raise three daughters without serious incident. I returned to riding when I retired with the purchase of a 750 Nighthawk. Love that motorcycle and I miss it now. I attempted the first part of the TransAmerican Trail in June 2014. My first dirt experience. I went as far as Russellville, Arkansas which was the plan. Might have to go back for more.

I've tried sailing and boatbuilding, but putzing with motorcycles now takes my time.
