Actually I just thought of a way I might be able to solve this myself... a flexible magnetic panel.

The racks are aluminum so you might have an issue attaching the magnetic sheet.
 
I have racks with fuel hole and without, going to powder coating today, should be ready for shipping end of next week. Thanks Dale
 
Received and mounted my rack today. Thanks Dale. Headed to the mountains on Thursday if they didn't wash away.

Trying to finalize the first adv rack, will fit with sw-motech mounts. Made and remade rack a couple of times, trying to get fit and look that works for me. I will make adv rack fit with most bag mount systems, just need to finish first one so I can post pic and see if it looks and works for you. Thanks Dale
 
New adv rack is done, Just sent to powder coating. Easy to install, remove your grab rails, fits with sw-motech bags, mounts with four bolts that used to hold grab rails, main rack goes all the way back, to install a box, has bracket under back offf rack to install back off lights. Replaces the back seat. Also has flip up rack over fuel cap, and is hinged to tilt up, like my other rack, but also has fuel hole, and has under front rack, storage for all kinds of stuff, like air compressor tools, tire plug kits, and is locked in the down position. I will make one that should work with all bags, i will order other bag mounts to make sure it will work with them. So it may take me a little longer to make with other mounts. After coating i will post pic. Thanks Dale
 
Dale, you are no doubt busy over the holidays with your, you know....life. But if you have an update on the new rack I am sure I am not the only one that would love to spend some time drooling over your latest products. ;)

I finished the adv rack for sw-motec bag mounts in November, but had another project I had to build that took three months, five days a week to build. It is completed, and will try to post pic in the next two days, having a problem with photo bucket, I did not release any info on rack when finished, I just did not have any time to make more, sorry for the delay. Dale
