My understanding is the longest distance between gas stations is 410 kilometers (256 miles). That puts you at borderline range. I would plan adding a gallon gas can (CT $8.50) for that. (Just fill up the bike's gas tank once you've burned off a gallon.)

One person did it on a cbr300 (Translabrador and Eastern Canada on a 300r | Adventure Rider) but I've read of people failing with 800gs' (accident) and Ktm 690's (too many flats). So it's about luck (& skill), not so much the bike you're riding.
