Could be, didn't consider that. Mainly because I know very little about farming, even though they live in every direction from my house. Lol

Both mine and my neighbor's yards have several mature bradford pear trees.....I hate em all. This was all one limb (about 1/3 of a whole tree) that fell in my neighbor's yard. It broke into 3 different pieces while I was dragging it to my back yard with my truck. Sucks having to do this what seems like every other month or two, but I'm building up a nice supply of fire wood.

I guess we can use this thread for the where did you ride your other bike that isn't an NC posts Lol.

Felt sporadic today. Took off work, got up, mounted my iron horse, and rode from Northeast AL to Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino in Murphy, NC (about an hour south of Deal's Gap). Only around 300ish miles round trip from my house, but ride through AL, GA, TN, and into NC to get there, which is cool. Perfect fall temps out, beautiful sunny ride by the Ocoee River to the casino. Stopped at a few scenic spots on the Ocoee for pics. Lost little over $200 but sure was fun. Time to head home now.

Best part about coming to this casino is that there is a Panda Express inside. Lol

Whew, summer is definitely gone! 85 mph freeway ride home in the upper 40's got me shivering a bit! 303 miles round trip. Made a few dollars back, only lost $130 total. That's a win compared to how it usually goes for me. LOL

As someone who gave up alcohol completely over two years ago I tried the various non alcoholic lagers, beers and wines. I passed on all of them, except this one. It is the best of the bunch and selling really well in this jurisdiction. Tbh I probably couldn't tell the difference twixt it and the alcoholic version.

I was pleasantly surprised. I've tried O'Doul's and the Coors n/a beers, just out of curiosity over the years. Those 2 were terrible, chalky tasting. This Heineken tasted like an easy drinking normal beer. Was cool drinking one on my lunch break at work and eating Bratwurst and 1/4 chicken. The real Oktoberfest in Germany has always been on my bucket list, but this was probably as close as I will get to marking off that item haha!

Another morning ride. Some heavy traffic?

Also, itís such a minor thing but I sure love having the turn signals shut off automatically after a couple hundred feet. No more realizing that Iíve had them flashing for the past five miles and everyone correctly thinking what a doofus I am.
