I'm pretty sure any self respecting thief would leave an NC alone, at least in North America, and move on to a Harley or sport bike that has demand for stolen parts.

If you haven't found this thread yet you might find it helpful. Well, except for Photobucket pics.

The V35's only mount on the PLX racks. V35's have a complex curved backside. The SW Motech racks with the adapter(s) for other brand bags only mount flat-sided bags like Givi Trekkers, Outbacks, and...
I've never had Shad luggage and can't comment but I have had Givi on several bikes. In my experience Givi is well designed and finished well. Some folks have complained about Givi engine guards...
Welcome from Florida. The NC is a great platform.
Thanksgiving greetings to everyone!
I hope we all have a sense of how blessed we are.
Thanksgiving Day may be primarily an American holiday but I believe a sense of gratitude for family,...
I tracked my 2012 manual for about 15,000 Fuelly miles and averaged ~66 mpg. My 2015 DCT has Fuelly tracked 18,738 miles and has an average at ~63 mpg. I never prioritize fuel economy in my riding...
Sunny and 77 today. Dawn patrol ride to coffee then lunch with several friends. 305 miles.
Yes, it has been done. I remember them but to find them now Google search 'nc700-forum sidecar' It works for any key word.
Here is some forum threads on the subject.
Yes, Virginia, the 700 can...
Seems I recall the NC engine shares a common intake tract and has a slight amount of valve timing overlap. Try replacing one spark plug when checking the other cylinder’s compression.
The OEM passenger grab rails have a hollowed out slot on the underside of them. Thin metal hook bungee cords hook under it just fine or use Rok Straps with their soft loops around the rails.
Trying to change it half-asked is not ideal, I think we agree on that. Having just replaced steering bearings on the Wing I'm thinking a proper fork oil job on the NC is a simple half day job but not...
I have the tool and the skills to stake the master link pins and still prefer the clip type. While it doesn't take long to break and stake a chain it's just easier to pop the clip off and back on....
This is true and I forgot about the need to compress the forks. I suppose if we had a fork out of the bike we could measure 104 mm depth compressed and then extend the fork and take another...
As you can see in the original post there is very little required to make a fork oil level tool. An inexpensive syringe and a length of vinyl tubing that is cut to a length that corresponds with the...
I'm too meticulous to do an oil change this way but it stands to reason one would get most of the benefit of changing it properly.
A caveat concerning replacing the fork cap. Some force is needed...
That might depend on your weight.
Did you check the tire pressures? A low front tire might require steady pressure on the inside grip to keep the turn from tightening up.
Otherwise, different models and brands of bikes can feel...

I replace one of these trim clips maybe every 20,000 miles, or never. I can afford the Honda OEM ones at that rate.
What do you do to these clips that require ever buying more than perhaps 1?
I disagree TacomaJD. The premium Euro brands mentioned play to a niche market in the US and do well selling a few thousand a year with individual models sometimes selling a few hundred units....
EBC HH Rear Pads for 2015 DCT
If owners fall in the group that neglects maintenance then they wouldn’t know the difference in brakes or suspension maintained with fresh fluids. The degradation of performance is so gradual it’s...
Back to black, not seen since 2015.
Looks like Honda finally updated the website and removed all references to linked brakes it hasn't had since 2013.
