has anyone else had this break?
Yes, it's a skeletonized steel sprocketGiven the cost and minimal weight savings vs Superlite I'm not a fan
you don't need to spend $1000. you can get a decent option for $200.
I agree that gloves are #2 on the list of gear.
I've ridden down the street wearing shorts, t shirt, sandals... helmet, gloves.
When people say they think jeans do anything, I remind them of playing on a playground in elementary school. I imagine that everyone fell down and skinned their knee through their jeans at...
for anyone who was curious... his clutch is still fine, and I think I'm at 47k.
I don't see how sticky pistons could cause pulsing (unless they caused the rotor to overheat and warp)
has anyone else had that break?
trying to figure out if I should just buy new OEM or if I ought to reinforce it
If they swapped the rotor and it's pulsing like that, they need to make it right.
I doubt most people have a vise big enough to reasonably use as a bead breaker - especially on something like the 130/80 I was removing.
I bet that vise weighs as least as much as the Coats 205...
correct, it's what the seat bolts to
Tacoma, if the humidity there is reasonable I'd highly recommend a mister to help cool you down
I swapped the front tire and flushed the brake on mine. Since I sold my tire machine I had to get...
well, I found something that at least contributes
no clue if it's the only problem. I also noticed that the wear pattern on the rack was farther forward than it...
No, it doesn't.
I had the same problem some with the seat so I doubt it's the rack, but I guess it's possible.
I just went and played around with it for a few minutes. The right (throttle/brake control) side will unlatch easily as long as I'm not pulling up. The left side doesn't want to come up period.
Given that I have a rack with a gashole, it isn't the only way to access my tank... but I'd like to be able to run the passenger seat too.
When I've gotten it open in the past and poked around,...
I've tried pushing down and sometimes it does the trick but far from always
I'm having trouble getting the passenger seat to open.
It seems that one side is unlatching but not the other.
Right now I have the rack on vs the seat, but I've had trouble with the seat...
I disagree about car tires not having trouble with age. A bit of a slide is less likely to cause injury though.I really wish Honda had put the tail light as part of the undertail rather than having...
What riding pants are you looking at that're *that* expensive? I've gotten pretty good full gear for well under that.
while swingarm angle has some impact on wheelbase, it's minor enough that it'd be well within the normal chain adjustment range
NC700X has rake of 27 degrees
if we get an extra inch of fork...
Your setup is clearly significantly more advanced than GVEs (compression uses a shim stack vs a coil spring, rebound is more than an orifice), but the GVEs are way better than stock so I'm not sure I...
There are a couple different Aprilia shocks available. Aprilia Tuono Rear Shock (Sachs) is the thread on them....
I don't worry about knocking picked up rubber off the tires if I'm not running warmers. Doesn't hurt anything.
And yes, it'll stay on the front for quite a while.
going from a 16 to a 17 front means that the speedo/odo will display 94.1% of what they previously did.
(90k - 68)k/.941 = 23,379 + 68k = 91,379
