The service book includes the warranty conditions and it states, that all maintenance work should be performed by an official Honda dealer. Otherwise the warranty is void.

It is interesting, though, that both the owners handbook and the FSM service tables are in contradiction with this. They both clearly say that if the owner is qualified and has the correct tools most work can be performed by him/her - see the small print in the attachments.

An comments? It's just so stupid to take the bike for the 600 mile oil and filter change + nut/bolt check up to a dealer and pay real money for that :D.

AFAIK, our american friends can do the maintenance their selves without any warranty loss, but us poor european guys must pay money to the dealers and have the service book stamped, despite you can do it better and without loosing any bolt
 
I'm guessing that Finland doesn't have the same laws as the USA. Here we have the Magneson-Moss Warranty act, which is a federal law that basically states that a dealer/manufacturer cannot require you to use their branded parts or their dealers for service unless they provide the parts and do the maintenance for free. So as long as you keep receipts and document your work, they cannot deny warranty unless they can show that you did something wrong.
 
Could you include an image of "The Service Book" that shows the "Void Warranty" statement!!
