I thought I'd start a picture thread showing the various saddlebags offered for our beloved NC700x. Below are some I've dragged off the Internet, and indeed some of them are from this site! My "thanks" to anyone whose pic I may have posted below! Please add your own comments if you're so inclined.

I'm hoping others will post up pics of their saddlebag configurations on their NC700Xs, along with a few comments, and of course some brand, model and maybe pricing info.

Firstly.... The Honda OEM accessory bags with aluminum side covers.

So, if you have additional pics of saddlebags mounted to your NC700X, please post 'em. If for some reason you're unable to, feel free to send them to me and I'll gladly do so.

The Givi panniers in picture 7 are E36 cases. The E45 case is the same in width and height but a little deeper.

Nice! I bought those same bags but they're not mounted on my NC yet (I'm painting the lids tonight). They were on sale for about $90. I thought they were nice because they don't add extreme width to the bike. Do you like them?

Dave, You're right of course... (SWMBO has taught me to say this!) but are the 45s less deep than the 36? I've made the correction to the first post and also added a pic of the E45 Sidecases.

Greg, those are the e21 cases.
One of Givi's few top loading cases.

670 yes I like them,I have only used them once then the snow started.I got them because of the top lid on them, nothing to fall out when loaded.I put some thin foam on the bottom.I also have a bigger bag for the back,(not in picture),so no top case needed.

Yes, I got the numbers backwards, the E36s differed from E45s in that the lid (the outer hinged portion when mounted as a side case) was 30mm deeper than an E36 lid. In fact you can buy a set of E45 lids and they fit right onto the 36s. I say differed because the 36s are discontinued and no longer available. E45s are still available.

Here's a combo of the Givi V46 and some Caribou'ed Pelican Storm 2600 cases (with his DIY Givi Mount). I don't think they're all that heavy at 8.5 lbs. For their stoutness, I'm OK with the extra weight. Very easy way to add extra visibility.

Update: Measurements and Notes
The general shape of the Caribou/Pelican DIY cases on the Givi Rack is tapered back and down. The top of the cases are wider than the bottom and the front is wider than the rear. If they're going to taper, this is the way I would have them taper since your go/no-go point is right at the front up top.

Front Top: 35.5" (widest point)
Front Bottom: 35"
Rear Top: 33.75"
Rear Bottom: 33" (narrowest point)

If you go this route, don't follow Givi's mounting instructions and wear gloves. The instructions tell you to mount the side brackets inside of the angled brackets that attach to the grab handles so that the brackets are closest to the bike after the nut. With the Pelican setup, this doesn't give the mounting locks enough room to turn and engage. Instead, sandwich the side mount bracket between the rear case and the grab rail bracket. It put's it out a little over .25" and lets the Caribou lock turn completely. If you didn't have to do this, the cases would be pretty close to completely parallel vertically, but still tapered the 2" front to back.

Wear gloves when using Givi mounts because I had a nasty metal splinter come off of one of their nuts as I held it in place while mounting and I've got some pretty thick calloused fingers.

I'll update with more pics if I remember to pull out my phone when I'm parked for a better sense of how they look. Pictures don't really do this setup justice.
