Carpal Tunnel Surgery?

So I just had my carpal tunnel surgery last week and I'm off work for 3 months for it to heal. I'm an auto tech by trade and do a lot of heavy type work. For those that have had the surgery how long did you wait until you started riding again?

About 2 months. Your palms will be very sensitive to impact for several months. Your grip might change slightly too. Little and ring finger won't have the same grip strength when squeezing toward your thumb. Was off work for 10 days on primary hand and 3 days for other. Found the prelim shock tests to be much more painful than the surgery.
