Hey guys, on the Honda NC700x, in the left turn signal/horn assembly, there are 2 black wires which goes into the housing. The smaller (outer) of the 2 wires has a connector at the entrance to the housing; does anyone know what this wire is for? I thought it would be for the horn, turn signals or flasher, but disconnecting it and all the items in the housing still work....

On Honda motorcycles, black is always a power wire. If you look on the schematic in the S/M, you can figure it out.

The service manual shows the black wires are for the clutch interlock switch. The switch allows the bike to start in gear with the clutch pulled in.
