Need a quick answer about motech crash bars installl

To put the crash bars - Motech - on the bike was there a need to remove any plastic or just a simple bolt on process ?? Thanks

You need to remove the lower cowl held by two hex key bolts.

it's also a lot easier if you have 2 people so somebody can support one side while you bolt down the other side.

Just adding to this old post because it helps to answer my questions too. I found a second hand set of Motech bars and wanted to be sure before I tried putting them on the bike.
