Front Brake Caliper Upgrade - Part Numbers?

    Hi Guys

From reading on this forum I believe the 3 piston caliper from the nc700x ABS and nc750x ABS will fit a standard nc700x for improved braking
Does anyone know the part number for it. I cant seem to find the correct part number on motogrid.com or cmsnl.com

Also can someone please confirm that the EBC pads FA388HH will fit these calipers? I believe the pads are larger.
I know the EBC catalog had the ABS and non ABS part numbers for the pads mixed up recently

    Thanks

I did this conversion and found it well worth the trouble...

    https://nc700-forum.com/forum/nc700-m...+farkling+whoa

The caliper is Honda P/N 45250-MGS-D81 and the pads are P/N 06455-MGS-D81. FA388HH appears to be the right EBC number for the ABS brakes.

EDITED TO ADD: Notice that after 2013, the ABS and non-ABS bikes both had 2-piston calipers. The caliper is very expensive as a new part. If you can find a dismantler (like an eBay seller) parting out an early ABS bike, you might do better. Some can question whether it is worth the money, however I know the braking to be stronger and you can read of a near-accident I just had where I barely stopped in time. So, who knows, it might have saved totaling me or the bike or both. I don't know how it would have come out with stock braking.

Interesting that with the fitment of 2-piston calipers to the 2014+ ABS models, this mod would now improve braking on them as well.

Thanks very much Are the brake pads for the 3 piston and later 2 piston caliper compatible. Will they fit each other.
Which one would you get? the 3 piston or 2 piston?

No, the pads are entirely different and need to match the caliper.

I am pleased to say that NaNCy is a 2013 DCT ABS Equipped model with the 3 piston front brake caliper. All is "Good" here!!!
