Too bad the Madstad didn’t work out for you. Oh, well.

A common solution to the shield/bar interference problem is bar risers. Many people have the risers installed to improve comfort anyway. I have 2 inch risers, the Madstad, and handguards, and have no interference issues.

2015 NC700X DCT. I have Barkbuster Storms and a Madstad with winglets and aside from having to trim a bit off each side of the shield there is no interference with the windshield or winglets. I do have risers but I did not have risers when the Madstad was first installed.

Sorry it did not work out for you on a 750X. There is a lot of adjustment to the fit of the system and the winglets. Did you try changing things around?
