    I’ve had these pegs for maybe 4 years and they are holding up fine. My NC engine doesn’t vibrate the pegs, so i never felt any need for isolators.

    I just installed the same ones, I used my MIG welder and tacked it to my GIVI crash bars and sprayed the weld with some plasti-dip, not even noticeable and no worry about spinning. I was going to go the same route as you but figured the paint and finish would get chewed up either way and it didn't cost me more that $.10 worth of wire/gas.

    Itís been a year since the installation of this peg, itís still holding on. There is discoloring due from the sun, itís been great to have it. When I go for long distance this thing is amazing. Peace!

    Based on your post, I did the same thing with a twist or two. Thanks for the tip! Mine have been on for several months. I put a strip of Velcro "loop" tape around the frame before mounting. I also get a real close frame color match using dark primer with a coating of satin clear over it. I also mounted horns to each side.
