    Painted stock exhaust

Plastidip on the heat shield and muffler, no issues with heat so far. I think it looks better dark rather than the only shiny piece on the bike.

It looks good. I'm thinking about using black header paint or high temperature grill paint on my header pipe. I removed the lower cowl so the bronze/copper color stands out a little more than I would like. Might do the muffler too, we'll wait & see.

Painted mine with high temp paint. Matte to match the engine. Seems to be holding up well

Looks good, what kind of prep work is needed for the high temp paint?

just a good cleaning, follow with a good sanding to remove all gloss. Finish with a final clean with lacquer thinner or something to remove grease. Several light coats of paint. Follow manufacture directions for cure.
