Like a kid, thought I should set up the tent I got today... just to make sure a 65 guy fit adequately.

Rode around Southern Indiana yesterday. Found the end of IND111. It has some nice curves once you get west of the casino. Rode into work tonight and headed to Two-Stroke Tuesday at the pub tonight afterwards. At 75+ deg, no way I am sitting at home.

Been working on alittle project for my 2012 NC700X............a rear rack/pan section so I can mount a tailbag back there........getting ready for Daytona in a few weeks. Will be painted rattlecan flat black so as to not show the imperfections as bad. Mounting bolts were designed last night (not shown yet). Looking to make a small pivoting slide cover for the gas cap hole. I'll post final pics when I'm done.

I wanted to ride in today; however, I have an injured throttle hand (cat bite) which got infected and the antibiotics haven't completely healed it yet. Tried riding 6 miles last night and by the time I got home I was crying like a little girl-and it is only the ring finger hand knuckle which is the problem.... dang it.

One final aid is proper tire lube, and by that I mean not dishwashing liquid. Try NoMar's paste on the bead and it will help ease the bead up out of the well and against the rim.

The combination of a better compressor, some better lube and a ratchet strap got her done today. The front tire was so easy I got it done with the little slime pump. No way the rear was going on that way. I did cheat with the dish soap as I had not ordered the lube yet. Found the RuGlyde at Napa on sale. Good reviews and can use it lube other rubber parts. With a 1 gallon container it should last my lifetime.

For any Canadians it is on sale currently Lubricant - Rubber Based / RuGlyde NTH 7651338 | Product Details

Sorry to hear that, I hope you heal quickly.

Cat bites are scary stuff, had a friend who's hand got bitten by our hosts wife house cat (looked like that white fluff ball from the commercials) 12 hours later they were talking about amputating his thumb and index finger, he was 22 at the time. Ended up keeping his fingers but was hospitalized for 3 weeks.

We're all partying 20 somethings having a good time lake side then this 22 year old healthy guy is told he could die from a single puncture bite from a pampered house cat WTH?

I wasn't a fan of cats before but now I really don't like them
