"Does engine oil get old and go bad?"

I was watching a video about the guy fixing 25 year barn find car, and there were some comments about the (25-year-old) oil in the car. Then did some "google-ing" and stumbled on this "article"
oil change - Does engine oil get old and go bad? - Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Stack Exchange

I think it's worth reading. Not just what, than HOW the guy wrote it.
Instead million dollars, give me million miles!

    Funny guy.

I am in the habit of 10,000 mile oil change intervals on my cars. PTW, more like 6,000 miles, weather and season dependent to some degree.
As far as shelf life, yeah, never gone far enough to consider it, personally.
