    Amount of oil

Just moved and can't find my manuel. So how much oil with a filter change? Getting old and can't remember.

My 640cc DCT with K&N filter takes 1 US gallon of Amsoil MC 10w-40

Sent from a hacked Speak and Spell, augmented with an old phonograph rocking a saw blade, fork, and umbrella powered by a blowing tree limb.

I remember hearing 3 qts, then top it up with the last qt using dipstick readings.

That's the method I use, remember don't screw the dipstick in to check the oil level

The manual varies from 3.3 US quarts to 4.3 US quarts depending on weather you have the manual, the DCT, replacing the filter, or after a complete engine re-assembly.

For the manual, with a filter replacement, it is 3.6 US quarts. But don't go dumping that in, put a little less in, start it up, let the oil filter fill and then top off according to the dipstick.

Remember it is measured with the bike upright, both wheels on the ground, and don't screw the dipstick in at all to measure it.

Yes, I remembered your bike, but there is no difference between manual and DCT when doing a simple oil change including filter. They are both 3.6 qts.
