Well, I did it, and I feel terrible. But at the same time, needed to upgrade to a bigger, taller ride, and compared to the NC. She feels like a Cadillac with a Porsche engine.

Here's what I traded up for and got 3k worth of free gear in the process through Triumph.

I have an Explorer also. Mine is a late 2012 model, and has had its issues. I assume yours is a new current model ? Best of luck with it, and I have no doubt you will enjoy it as much as I do mine. If you have any questions or queries, do not hesitate to pm me.

good looking motorcycle... what is the net horsepower (about 50 for the NC)?
Range?

I love the cases!

Just looking at my own handbook it says 135bhp @ 9000 rpm. However it makes 75% of its torque (89lb ft @ 6400 rpm) at 2500rpm.

Imho it is one of the sweetest motorcycle motors ever made.

Nice! I was considering a 2008 1050 with bags and 8,000 miles for 6K. Someone bought it while I was considering it. - LOL

have tried to open the frunk on triumph?

p.s.
the truth is for me NC750x is too low as well, would prefer taller bike.
