A Dubai Suburb

Here's a quick jaunt through a fairly affluent suburb of Dubai for anyone who's curious about the place.
I plan to put more of these on my new YouTube channel, at great risk to myself (there are very strict rules on what you can film here) so you can subscribe there if you're really interested. I'll do some of the less well off areas, well known landmarks and maybe some of the super rich bits if I can get in.

Interesting, if possible you should move your camera up a bit. The windshield support bar is blocking the view.

I'm guessing the tower buildings are housing? Condominiums?
Do you have suburbs of individual houses?

Do be careful! I've spent plenty of time in Iraq, Bahrain and a couple months in Jebel-Ali. Their laws can be quite unforgiving. Don't get yourself in any trouble over this.

Grey, I moved the camera after this trip, the new angle's on the top of the bars, much better.

bamamate, Yes on both counts, these towers are apartments, just a minute in the other direction (towards Jebel Ali) there's a compound of villas. I can probably smile and wave my way past the gate there.

vodapas, I should be ok as long as I don't post footage any accidents, sheikhs or labour camps*. I will be careful anyway.



*fights, drunk locals, swearing, pork, military, identifying bad drivers, anything about religion...

Here's the next installment. I plan to sort out a mic to make my commentary audible, I'm actually spouting observations all the way through this video but they're completely lost under the road noise.
