Very interesting. That crash is definitely a scenario where the ripcord activated vests wouldn't yet have started to inflate. It doesn't look like quite as much volume and neck support as my hit-air though, perhaps a limitation of being an under-layer vs. over-layer.

Edit: Oh, no sensors on the bike, just the jacket.
